Pack your bags! Today’s line-up will have you traveling the world. Experience the brisk and beautiful North through Tanya Tagaq’s unique “Inuit Throat Singing”. Travel the coasts of the Mediterranean with the Grecian music of The Forgotten Bouzouki. Be sure to pack your shorts because with the smoldering beats of Havana to Canada and Bill Brennan & Banda Brazil, things are going to get hot, hot, hot! Enjoy the bluegrass infused jazz of the Creaking Tree String Quartet.
Not only does Day 2 of WIJBF boast a wide array of international styles, Wednesday also showcases blues and jazz concerts, including: the Parker Goudie Acoustic Duo, Funky Dory, Jerrold Dubyk Quartet, Owen Howard’s “Drum Lore”, the Peter Van Huffel Quartet, Chris Kirby & The Marquee with The Horns of Justice, Treasa Levassuer and Elizabeth Shepherd.
