Volunteer of the Week: Brad Lambert

June 8, 2010

Each week, WJB profiles one of its volunteers as part of its commitment to recognizing all their selfless contributions to our cause. This week, our featured volunteer is Brad Lambert.

Since the WJB organization began its volunteer program, Brad has been at the front lines contributing to the success of the Festival and year-round events. His experience and expertise over the years have helped shape our volunteer program, bringing safety to the forefront of the entertainment industry. Although Brad has filled nearly every role during previous WJB events, he has a specialty in security and security coordination, safety supervision, and box office attendance.

We’re lucky to have Brad on board because of his experience in organizing large-scale events such as the Wreckhouse International Jazz & Blues Festival. Brad is one of the principal organizers and directors of the Sci-Fi On The Rock conference, which recently enjoyed a banner year. He has also coordinated several events one the ground such as concerts by Rod Stewart, Donald K Donald and Shaggy. Plus, he volunteers with the Janeway Telethon, St. John’s Boys & Girls Club, and St. John’s Ambulance.

At age 52, Brad is a safety coordinator for HSC Integrated, travelling and instructing first aid and setting safety protocols.

WJB would like to extend its gratitude to Brad, this week’s Volunteer of the Week!
