Hearts for Haiti. A weekend of events presented by the Spirit of Newfoundland

Hearts for Haiti, a local fundraising group spearheaded by Spirit of Newfoundland Productions, presents a five-night festival of music, comedy, dance, art and film and a silent auction to raise funds for our neighbors in Haiti struck by disaster. From January 27-31, the Masonic Temple at 6 Cathedral Street opens its doors to all those who feel the need to simply help.
Performers and Event Schedules:
Wednesday, January 27
Film Screening of documentary on Haiti, Poto Mitan and Discussion. Presented by St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival. 7:00 Doors Open
Thursday, January 28
Stucco in the ’80s Dinner & Show.
A special fundraiser presented by Spirit of Newfoundland Productions.
Doors Open 6:30
Friday, January 29
4:00 – 12:00 – Wall-to-wall music and dance.
Saturday, January 30
1:00 – 4:00. Family Day hosted by Terry Rielly’s Teddy Bear Picnic
6:00 Doors Open – Comedy, music, DJ’s, creative dance and dancing.
Sunday, January 31
12 noon. The School of Music presents “Schumann in Love/Loss.
1:00 PM Gospel
2:00 Art Exhibition of Allain Portel
7:00 Special Evening* of Ballads and Storytelling
